A native of Richmond, Virginia, J. Christian Lewis graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, with a bachelor of arts degree in 1989. He graduated cum laude from Tulane University School of Law in 1992. Christian began his practice as an assistant city attorney and then moved to Lafayette in 1994.

His areas of practice include personal injury, automobile accidents and workers’ compensation claims. He is licensed to practice in both Louisiana and Virginia and is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Western and Eastern District Courts of Louisiana and all Louisiana State Courts.

Christian is married to Paulette Perron Lewis and they have three children.
